I experimented with front/rear pad combinations with my ST fronts and stock rears. In the end, I'm able to add a bit more rear balance with a more aggressive rear pad, and from new-to-metal, all 4 pads wore out at nearly the same time (same track day). All this, and I saved 1800+ dollars. ST even warned me about doing this, as the additional rear bias puts more 'issue' on the driver (trail/late braking, wet conditions, DD conditions, etc.) SS
